Sandy's Helping Hands is a 501(c)3 nonprofit founded by Machel Heldstab. We have a board of 6 members, all that live here in Sandy. Our goal is to connect our local volunteers with families and individuals in need. We also have a Sandy Emergency Assist Program to help families with urgent needs.
As any community, needs vary widely. We are always looking for a diverse group of volunteers to bring Helping Hands. Whether you have a few hours a month, or a few hours a year, your impact will make a huge difference! Our facebook page is a hub between our Sandy Or. volunteers and Sandy families in need.
